Felicity Kate Provide a message from future humans on Humans vs....



Today we have a human from the future jumping into the fray of who will survive: Humans, Aliens or Nanites.

Here's Felicity Kates' contribution to the frey:

To the people of Earth.
If this message should one day make it back to you, listen up.

You need to get your s**t together. Stop worrying about whether aliens or humans will win the war. 
Because if you don’t focus on solving ways to live on Earth without destroying it, there won’t be anyone left to fight if aliens ever do invade.

You think you have it all, with your big cities and your armies and your mass produced food sources. But I’m sitting here long after you’re all dead, reading these words you’ve left behind.

Supreme Warden Antaro T’lik? Dr. Who? Never met them. Or any other alien. From where I’m sitting, I can tell you that beyond our planet, there’s only light years of empty space. But if he’s real, maybe this time travelling doctor can get this message back to you and help change the future.

Your future. Mine.

You’re going to think that it’s okay. That humans can survive. That even when the world becomes super-populated, that the Arkology ships you’ll bankrupt your economies to build will find other worlds to colonize.

But it’s not going to happen that way. The ships won’t find what they’re looking for. Humans only have one place to live. Here. Planet Earth.

We did it to ourselves. Consumed too much. 
Weakened our bodies with generations of pollutants. It was only a matter of time before the numbers added up and we lost that epic war against our own inherent fallacy of believing we could keep taking without limits.

I’m sitting here as a survivor. One of about three thousand people who’ve joined together to re-build the human population. But our species is weak. And this planet, our home, hostile. Our only hope is to science the s**t out of whatever we have left.

So enjoy your lattes if you want to. And your high-end luxury cars. Just know that when it comes down winning the war against extinction, it won’t be the aliens or the machines that we have to worry about. It’s ourselves.
