Rebecca here! I am so excited to
be on Liza’s blog today. Once upon a
time, Liza and I were new authors together.
I have always been a huge fan of her work. Isn’t she awesome?
Anyway, I’m here today because
I’m excited to tell you that I have a new series that has just released. (The first two books.) It’s called the Wings
of Artemis and it’s a Science Fiction Romance.
Kidnapped By Her Husbands (Wings
Of Artemis #1)
“A great newcomer to the Reverse
Harem genre! I truly enjoyed the characters and their dynamics. I’m dying to
find out what will happen next!”—Bestselling author AS Oren
Alone in prison.
No recollection of the past.
A baby grows inside her.
In a futuristic world where women
are scarce and only the wealthy can afford a wife, Melissa Alexander is trapped
in a prison rehabilitation center with no memory of who she is. The unborn child growing inside her is all
that keeps them from making her pay for the sins she's committed--sins she
cannot recall. But when five sexy
strangers, claiming to be her husbands, kidnap her and bring her to safety,
Melissa fears she can't trust them. All
she can remember is what she was taught under the prison's watchful, vengeful
eye: to hate them. But how can she hate--or love--what she can't
remember?
CONTENT: Intense, Reverse Harem
First, I must warn you the name is a bit of a spoiler, but
given if you don’t mention the title, Amazon will not let you review the book,
it’s an impossible situation.
Which is rather like the book…
Rebecca Royce also creates an impossible situation for her
heroine, Melissa.
Melissa gets her mind wiped and is held in a rehabilitation
prison. She learns she was a wicked woman in the past, and must learn a meeker,
more submissive behavior. She’s also
pregnant, and if she wants to get a husband for her child, she best tow the
line
And since that’s the only Kool-Aid being offered, she drinks
it.
But then a guard starts talking to her—he’s not supposed to
do that.
And a prince shows up and demands she receive pre-natal
care.
Then all hell breaks loose. The guard carries her into the
Prince’s shuttle and escapes the planet.
Turns out five men have stolen her and one of them seems to
hate her.
She doesn’t know why, and neither does the reader….at first.
Royce has many lines of intrigue running through this
fabulous story. Slowly revealing answers to our puzzles, until the main one
left is rather a Gordian’s knot. They
might be able to reinstate her memories, but does she want that? She is very
different than her prior self. Is she a better person as she is now? She is
certainly kinder and more loving, but is that what is needed to survive?
Royce has created a complex physiological and physical
thriller that is absolutely thrilling to read. And for those who like their
books spicy, the last half of the book is RED HOT and sizzling.
